After gaining enough attention on his first-ever international wicket against Sri Lanka U-19, Arjun Tendulkar is yet again trending on the social media. However, this time, he is getting trolled for his performance with the bat.
Son of Indian cricketing legend, Sachin Tendulkar is part of the India U-19 team, touring Sri Lanka. During the 1st Youth Test, Arjun came to bat at No. 9 when the team was reduced to 525/7. Junior Tendulkar faced 11 deliveries during his stint at the crease but failed to score a single run.
He lost his wicket to spinner PWS Dulshan’s delivery while trying to play forward defensive shot. He was caught by Pasindu Sooriyabandara at the forward short leg position.

Co-incidentally, Arjun repeated the performance of his father in his debut ODI game against Pakistan, back in 1989. Batting at No. 5, Sachin faced two balls and was dismissed on a duck by Waqar Younis.
As soon as the people out there witnessed him returning to the dressing room without even opening his account, they openly fired their troll-bullets on the 18-year-old left-arm pacer.

Arjun turned out to be one of the two batsmen who got out on a duck. The Indian colts scored 589 in the first innings in reply to Sri Lanka’s 244. All-rounder Ayush Badoni and opener Atharwa Taide scored centuries whereas Anuj Rawat and Nehal Wadhera scored half-centuries.
