Former Indian Test opener Wasim Jaffer, who has also never lost a Ranji Trophy final in his career, predicted the number of tons Virat would end up getting in ODIs when he retires. The talismanic Test player, who represented India in 31 Tests and two ODIs, also hailed the Indian skipper for another batting masterclass during the 2nd ODI against West Indies.

Wasim Jaffer, who is the fifth cricketer to win 10 Ranji Trophy titles, took to Twitter and wrote, “Normal services resume after a break of 11 innings!! i.e. another international for Virat Kohli My prediction is he will get 75-80 ODI 100’s #KingKohli,”

Here is Wasim Jaffer’s tweet:

Jaffer is the first Indian with two double centuries after the age of 40 and was the batting mentor of the Bangladesh team for the Sri Lanka series. The 40-year-old Jaffer is also the only cricketer to have scored more than 10,000 runs in Ranji Trophy.

After the early departures of Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma in the second ODI vs Windies, India skipper Kohli scored a brilliant 120 off 125 balls to help India post 279 for seven after opting to bat.

In return, West Indies were comfortably placed at 148 for four after the 27th over before they kept losing wickets in quick succession to be bundled out for 210 in 42nd over.
