New Delhi: Virat Kohli is one of the most dazzling batsmen in the world cricket at the moment, so if a player of his stature praises an opponent, then the opponent must be great at his craft. The Indian skipper, again, hailed Pakistan’s speed machine Mohammad Amir as the most difficult bowler he has ever faced in international cricket.
The 28-year-old batsman echoed his sentiments during an interview with Bollywood superstar Amir Khan which was aired on Sunday.
“In the recent times, Mohammad Amir of Pakistan. He is in the top two or three bowlers in the world and the toughest bowlers I have played in my career. You have to be on your ‘A’ Game when you’re facing him or he will strike. Oustanding! Very good bowler!”
This is not the first time that Virat spoke on Amir’s abilities. During 2016 Asia Cup, the Indian skipper heaped praised on the 23-yer-old for accepting his mistakes and showing tremendous “courage”.
