In the battle of the bottom-placed, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Delhi Daredevils at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi on Saturday.
The visitors have more than pride at stake. A win all remaining four encounters can still take them to the playoffs, provided other results go their way as well.
But just before the high-voltage encounter against Delhi, Royal Challengers Bangalore have received a massive blow. Skipper Virat Kohli is said to be unwell and also missed the evening training session on Friday.
However, Virat is unlikely to miss out on such important fixture in his home city.
In case Kohli opts out of the game, AB de Villiers is likely to take up the responsibility.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore are placed seventh in the points table, amassing only 6 points in 10 games.
After taking on Delhi, the Virat Kohli led side will face KXIP on May 14, Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 17 and Rajasthan Royals in the final encounter on May 19.
