Tom Latham Reflects On New Zealand's Historic Win In 2nd Test Vs India

"Yeah, it is very special feeling. Proud to be in this position. It is not just me, but the whole team did well. Just stoked for the guys in the team. Yeah, it is really special. You come here and you always want to compete. We spoke about last week, to focus on this game and stay on our feet. Wanted to put runs on the board and that's what we did. Santner has been around for a while and glad to see him bowl so well when he got the opportunity," said Tom Latham, during the post-match presentation ceremony.

"I think we did not play too bad in Sri Lanka. We came here and talked about playing the long game. Both surfaces were completely different and we adapted well. To adapt and put ourselves in front was good. GP played well to get us so far ahead. In the middle session, not only Mitch but Phillips and Ajaz bowled well as well. When Timmy caught that last one, we were overjoyed," he added.
