BPL 11: Bangladesh legend Tamim Iqbal has made headlines for the wrong reasons, as the former international batsman was indulged in a heated exchange and fight with the Rangpur Riders' coaching staff, after his side suffered a heartbreaking defeat, thanks to Nurul Hasan's last over heroics against Kyle Mayers.

As soon as the match got over, Rangpur Riders' players and support staff rushed on to the pitch wth their wild celebrations, as skipper Nurul Hasan scored 30 runs off the final over to hand his side their 6th consecutive win.
Tamim Iqbal (Fortune Barishal skipper) has a history of heated exchanges against the Rangpur Riders, and there is no clarity on who started the argument, but tempers flared, and the Fortune Barishal's support staff had to hold their skipper back.

"Great, great, great. Absolutely brilliant game. It's unfortunate that we came last, but a lot of credit has to go to Nurul Hasan. I thought the way he batted was unbelievable-26 off the last over. I thought we did pretty well with the bat, especially considering we didn't have a great first two or three overs. I was struggling a bit, but then the way Shanto and Mayers batted was brilliant," said Tamim Iqbal, Fortune Barishal Captain.
"I thought the run rate was absolutely fine on this wicket. They batted extremely well, and you have to give it to them. I thought the whole game was one of those that build tournaments. I'm hurt, but I'm also happy that the tournament is going well. A lot of credit has to go to the groundsmen for the way they've prepared the wickets," he added.
