T20 Blast 2024: The T20 Blast 2024 season has crossed the mark of 50 matches and things are seeming much clear to all the participating sides, as they are about to reach the halfway mark of the season. Surrey have asserted their authority over the South Group, as they are leading the table in a neck-toneck battle with fierce rivals and defending champions Somerset.
Surrey's emphatic 54-run victory now takes them to 9 points, and will give them a cushion of lead above the fifth-placed Hampshire, as the race for Top 4 from South Group is intensifying with each passing fixture. As for Sussex, they too missed out on a chance to move to top of the table and ave taken a hit in their highly impressive Net Run Rate (NRR).
Coming to the North Group, Lancashire are looking a class apart from the rest, as they are the only side to have points in double figures across all the teams. The Keaton Jennings-led side have lost only once this season, which came against Worchestershire back in May and are looking comfortably confirmed into the knockout stages.
