Former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly turned 51 on Saturday (July 8, 2023). On the occasion, the ex-BCCI President and one of the greatest ever skippers of the Indian cricket team, announced a new initiative. The left-handed batter revealed that he would be taking a leadership course online for the first time. The course will be offered on the "Sourav Ganguly Masterclass" app. Ganguly launched his new app through a social media post. While the ClassPlus apps and team helped him with him with the tech, he also an that the proceeds from the course will be donated for the education of underprivileged.

Earlier, Ganguly had kept his fans on the edge of their seats by telling them in advance that he would be making a special announcement on his birthday. The man who led India to the finals of the 2003 ODI World Cup had recently said that even though there is a lot of hype around the India vs Pakistan match at the World Cup, India vs Australia happens to be a better contest.
