Colombo: Kuldeep Yadav was India's top scorer in today's T20I with 23 runs. Such was the dismal nature of India's batting performance, that a number 7 batsman outperforms all the top-order batsmen. India played a very young side, with batsmen like Gaikwad, Padikkal, Samson and Rana formed the top order of India's batting.

These youngsters failer to shine in the last two T20Is, which means that the young Indian boys need to buckle up as they have bigger boots to fill. It looks like an unfortunate way to end the series for Indian batsmen where they have been dominating the SL bowlers throughout the series. India's batting debacle happens as Eight Indian players were not allowed to participate in today's match as they were in close proximity with Krunal Pandya who was tested Covid-19 positive.

Leg spinner Hasaranga picked up 4 wickets and the rest of the bowlers also performed well. Indian batsmen kept on losing wickets. India was 36/5 at one point in the match.

Despite losing the 2nd T20I after batting first, India chose to bat first on a difficult wicket. The Indian batsmen never looked comfortable and kept on losing wickets at regular intervals, It was a combined bowling effort by the Lankan bowlers. Hasaranga the leg-spinner troubled the Indian batsmen a lot and looks like a great prospect for the future.

Sri Lanka finally registers their first series win in the year 2021. Mickey Arthur, the coach will be extremely happy, especially, by the performance of his bowlers. Happiness in the SL camp!
