India’s young batter Shubman Gill is on a break and holidaying in France after a tiring IPL 2023 and World Test Championship schedule. During his break in France, he visited the French iconic club Paris Saint Germain and was captured while posing with a PSG jersey at Parc des Princes.

“I everyone, it’s Shubman Gill here. I want to thank everyone in PSG for having me here. Ici c’est Paris, ” Gill said in a video posted by PSG.

PSG also shared a picture of Gill with jersey number 7 and wrote, “Namaste dosto, here’s India’s favorite cricketer and PSG fan @ShubmanGill at Parc des Princes.”

Earlier, Gill also got a chance to meet  Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland who are in a mood of celebration after a  treble, consisting of the Premier League, FA Cup, and the UEFA Champions League. Just before the WYC final 2023, Shubman Gill was spotted watching FA Cup final at the Wembley Stadium featuring the Manchester Derby alongside Virat Kohli.

The Punjab-based batter was part of the Indian team that lost the recently concluded World Test Championship Final against Australia and this was the second time that India suffered a second straight defeat in the one-off contest.

The Indian team will now be locking horns against West Indies in two Test matches, by three ODIs and five T20Is, starting from July 12. All eyes will be on the 23-year-old batter Gill who has been in a scintillating form for a while now. Also as per the reports, since most of the senior players are likely to be missing out on the West Indies tour, Gill has to take the onus and sail his team’s boat.
