India’s young batter Shubman Gill was on a break and visited the Paris Saint-Germain stadium Parc des Princes. The Punjab-based player also got a number 7 jersey from the club as a gift. Most of the Indian cricketers went on a holiday after the end of the World Test Championship final against Australia on June 11. Gill also decided to give himself a break from a hectic schedule and visited France. He Las shared a picture on his Instagram handle where he got a hilarious reply by his teammate Ishan Kishan, leaving the internet in splits.


"Shirt leke West Indies aa jana bro. Please don't forget. Was looking for it everywhere," commented Kishan on the video posted by Gill.






Both Gill and Kishan have been added to India's Test and ODI squads for their upcoming tour to the West Indies. Talking about the recently passed WTC final 2023, Gill failed to deliver with his willow, scoring 13 and 18 in both innings. As a result, the Indian team lost the game against Australia by 209 runs at the Oval in London.


In the upcoming series against West Indies, the Indian team will be playing two Tests, three One-Day-Internationals (ODIs), and a five-match T20 International series, starting from July 12.  The BCCI also declared the squads for the Test and ODI series. Young guns like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and pacer Mukesh Kumar have been added to India's Test side for the very first time while veteran players like Cheteshwar Pujara and Mohammed Shami have been dropped.


Ajinkya Rahane, who recently made a comeback to the Test team for the World Test Championship final, has been assigned the role of Rohit’s deputy in the longest format of the game. Sanju Samson and Jaydev Unadkat have been included in the 50-over squad of the Indian team.
