Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh was seen in a new "chikna chamela" avtar on Saturday as he took to Instagram to unveil his new clean shaved look. The 37-year-old can be seen pouting in the photo that he captioned: "New look chikna chamela !! or should I bring back the beard?"

India tennis icon Sania Mirza came up with hilarious comment to mock Yuvraj's clean shaven look, saying: "Are you pouting to hide the chin under the chin we spoke bout ???? Bring the beard back".

After his retirement from international cricket, the former all-rounder has spoken on a lot of issues and players in the current Indian cricket team.

Recently, Yuvraj backed out-of-form Rishabh Pant, stating that the wicket-keeper batsman has a lot of potential, all he requires is consistent support and mentor-ship from the coach and captain.

"Someone needs to mentor Rishabh according to his character. Suppressing Rishabh won't get the best out of him. He has a lot of potential, the captain and the coach need to mentor him. Team needs to stop making statements about Rishabh in the media," Yuvraj Singh told NDTV.

"Rishabh Pant has the best match-winning ability. Mental aspect of the players needs to be addressed," Yuvraj Singh added.
