On the special occasion of Onam, India cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to wish his fans and recalled a interaction with an artist Pranav in Kerala who sketches with the help of his legs. Tendulkar had met the special artist during his recent visit to Kerala. "Happy Onam to everyone. May this festive season bring joy & prosperity to all! During my recent visit, I had a special interaction with Pranav, an artist who sketches with his legs & I am just amazed by his drive & motivation. This, to me, truly symbolizes the Spirit of Kerala," Sachin Tendulkar tweeted.

Apart from Tendulkar, India Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, who returned to form in the recently concluded Windies Tour, also wished his fans on the occasion of Onam. While out-of-favor batsman Suresh Raina and veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh also extended their wishes on Onam to their fans.

On the eve of National Sports Day, former Indian batting great Sachin Tendulkar held the bat once again and faced a few balls on the Mumbai streets. He was joined by Bollywood stars Varun Dhawan and Abhishek Bachchan and together they played a game of cricket.

Sachin also spent some time with the inmates of St. Anthony's Old Age Home in Mumbai. In a 45-second video, Sachin could be seen playing carrom and interacting and sharing jokes with the women inmates.
