New Delhi: India dismantled England for 255 runs at VDCA stadium in Vishakhapatnam on Saturday to grab 200 run lead. R Ashwin returned back to his best as he led the Indian bowling attack to claim 5-67 against the visiting English side. 



Ashwin becomes the second cricketer to claim 50 wickets this year with 5 five-for and clinching 10 wickets in an innings twice. The 30-year-old has played in 9 Test matches in 2016. This is Ashwin’s 22 ‘five-for ‘in Test cricket. 



Sri Lanka spinner Ranganna Herath leads the list with 54 wickets in 2016. Herath played 8 Test matches and claimed 5 Five-for and twice clinched 10 wickets in an innings.



R Ashwin becomes the second Indian bowler to wrap 50 wickets consecutively for 2 years. Veteran off-spinner Harbhajjan Singh achieved this feat in 2001-02.



After bowling out England for 255, India will look to add more runs on the board before putting the visitors to bat again in the 2nd innings.
