IPL 2020: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)  won the toss and elected to bowl vs Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 19th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, at the Dubai International Stadium, in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

The Delhi Capitals got a breezy start with openers Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan, It was Udana from The Royal Challengers Bangalore opening the bowling attack. Prithvi Shaw started with a flurry of boundaries - hitting three of them in front of square, through mid-wicket, and then through square leg to fetch 14 runs from the first over.

Washington Sundar and Navdeep Saini bowled good length to attack the DC opener but there was no stopping for Prithvi Shaw in the first few overs as he hurled boundaries everywhere pressuring the RCB squad. After powering DC with a good score in 5 overs, RCB got the BIG FISH.

In the 6th over of RCB vs DC, Mohammed Siraj came in with a good bouncer to Prithvi Shaw who tried to hook and was caught behind by AB De Villiers after gloving it. Prithvi Shaw left for 42 runs. Shikar Dhawan also left early. Udana mixed up the pace as Dhawan looked to go long over long-on, holed out to Moeen Ali for 32. It was a Big strike for RCB.

Delhi Capitals reached 63/0 at the end of the Powerplay with Shaw off to a flyer.

After opening the innings with a boundary, DC Captain Shreyas Iyer couldn't take his team to the required score. It was a great success for Moeen Ali straightaway as he picked the prized scalp of Shreyas Iyer but credit goes to Devdutt Padikkal for taking an excellent catch in deep mid-wicket. It was the pure presence of mind as Padikkal after taking the catch, crossed the rope but threw the ball and then comes in to complete the catch. These catches have now become a regulation in IPL.

Marcus Stoinis joined Rishabh Pant and started with an explosive attack making it difficult for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Sloppy work from RCB as Yuzvendra Chahal drops Marcus Stoinis on 30. Marcus Stoinis and Rishabh Pant put on a quick-fire fifty-plus partnership for Delhi Capitals.

Stoinis (53 off 26 balls) put on 89 runs with Rishabh Pant (37 off 25) for the fourth wicket in 6.5 overs as the duo took charge after RCB had claimed quick wickets to peg DC back, after a strong start provided by Prithvi Shaw (42 off 23 balls) and Shikhar Dhawan (32 off 28 balls) for the first wicket. Shaw and Dhawan put on 68 in just over six overs.

However, three wickets in the next 30 balls with the addition of just 22 runs brought RCB back. Stoinis survived an early chance with Yuzvendra Chahal dropping him off his own bowling. After that he clobbered the RCB bowlers, hitting six fours and two sixes.

Brief scores: Delhi Capitals: 196/4 wkts in 20 overs (M Stoinis 53 not out, P Shaw 42, R Pant 37, M Siraj 2/34) vs RCBAfter brilliant knocks, Mohammed Siraj got the breakthrough and Pant departed after much effort. Stoinis efforts and Hethmeyer batting the last over led DC to a strong score of 196/4
