VID Vs KER: Day 3 of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 Final belongs to Vidarbha, as the side attain a crucial first-innings lead vs Kerala. After managing merely 379 in their innings, bowlers did well to reduce Kerala from 125/3 to 342 all-out.
At the end of Day 3, Vidarbha registered a 37-run lead, and will commence their 2nd innings with the first ball on Day 4.

Vidarbha Vs Kerala: Day 3 Highlights
Starting their Day 3 on the score of 125/3, Kerala had a simple task of avoiding losing wickets at regular intervals, and take the all-decisive first-innings lead. The overnight pair of Aditya Sarwate and Sachin Baby looked comfortable on the pitch, before the dismissal of the former at the hands of Harsh Dubey, who gave Vidarbha a much-needed breakthrough.
Kerala's semi-final hero, Mohammed Azharuddeen, failed to repeat his heroics, as he fell for the score of 34, followed by short cameos from Jalaj Saxena and Eden Apple Tom, as Kerala lacked stability in their innings.
Their skipper (Sachin Baby) fought like a lone warrior out there, but his resilience came to an end on the score of 324, as his wicket marked an untimely collapse against the home side.
Sachin Baby just fell short off his ton by 2 runs, as Kerala managed to score merely 18 runs for their last four wickets.

Vidarbha will resume Day 4 with their 2nd innings, and will be vary of the threat Kerala bowlers will possess in the morning session.
