PSL 2025: Multan Sultans register their maiden win in Pakistan Super League 2025, as the former champions inflict a 33-run hammering on 2022 & 2023 winners Lahore Qalandars.

With the result, Multan Sultans mark their home debut on the right note, as the side have only lost twice at the venue in the history of PSL.

Electing to bat first, the hosts delivered on all fronts, as the openig duo of Mohammad Rizwan and Yasir Khan provided the side with an explosive start, and Lahore Qalandars never recovered from the early jitters.

Even during the chase, only Fakhar Zaman looked promising for the side, who eventually managed merely 195 runs at the end of their innings.

For his 87-run knock of 44 balls, which consisted of 6 fours and 6 sixes, Yasir Khan was awarded the Player of the Match.

Here's What Yasir Khan Said After The Match

Yasir Khan (Player of the Match):

"I want to thank Allah, and I have worked hard for this day. The team required such a knock and I'm happy I was able to contribute towards victory. There's a lot of hardwork and practice behind this knock, and that paid dividends today."

"This is my natural game, I know I am good down the ground and over mid-wicket and I wanted to stick to my strengths. It's difficult but with hard work and patience, you can capitalize on the opportunity. The one flick over mid-wicket off Shaheen was my favourite shot today."
