PSL 2025: Islamabad United continue their unbeaten run in Pakistan Super League 2025, as the reigning champions hand Multan Sultans a crushing 47-run defeat in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

With the result, the Shadab Khan-led side once again get the better of Mohammad Rizwan's side, in what was a repeat of the 2024 Final.

Multan Sultans, who have appeared in the Final of the PSL from past 3 seasons, have now recorded consecutive defeats.

Here's What Shadab Khan Said After The Match

Shadab Khan (Islamabad United Captain):

"The pitch was a bit tacky when we were batting, and the way Munro & Farhan started and the finish from Haider & Holder gave us a perfect first innings. When we came out to defend, the pitch changed to a true Pindi pitch with dew in play, and I think it was one of our best bowling performance till date."

"I always have the matchups in my pocket to refer, and that's why I came on early to bowl. I am glad we were able to execute well. If you see the matchups, Iftikhar is a bit weak against left-arm pace and to create that angle, Holder was the choice. The attitude of our younger players like Shahzad has been fantastic for us."

"The season has just started and anything can happen but we are already ticking our boxes and we want to focus on being consistent."
