The architect of Karachi Kings first ever PSL title was their batting mainstay Babar Azam who top scored with a fiery 63-run knock to spearhead his team's 135-run chase. Babar stitched a 61-run partnership with Windies wicket-keeper Chadwick Walton to anchor his team's chase with eight balls to spare.
Babar Azam, who was declared the Man of the Match for his stellar half ton, became the only player to win the award in two consecutive playoff matches in a single edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
473 - Babar Azam was the standout player with the willow in Karachi's title winning campaign, leading the run scoring charts with a staggering 473 runs in the tournament.

Azam's 473-run tally was the most by any batsmen in a single edition of the tournament. The elegant stroke-maker eclipsed the record for most runs in single season of the PSL held by Luke Ronchi for Islamabad United in 2018.
163 – Babar has struck a total of 163 fours in the Pakistan Super League history, the most by any player in this league. Babar overtook the 4-hitting record of the Peshawar Zalmi’s Kamran Akmal (158).
55 - Azam hit 55 fours in the 2020 edition of the PSL, the most boundaries by batsman in single edition of the the PSL. He broke the record of Luke Ronchi, who struck 51 fours in the 2018 edition of the tournament.
