PCB's official handle shared the information on Twitter about the same but, unfortunately, drew the attention of netizens, who captured screenshots of the tweet before PCB made the correction.
"Pakiatan team leave for England...All the best boys!" it wrote. Trolling PCB, a user wrote, "Boys correct spelling well." "They took 1 hour to figure out the correct spelling of Pakistan," another user wrote.
Pakistan is scheduled to play three Tests and as many T20Is in August and September. PCB posted the video of their squad's arrival in England on their Twitter handle. Pakistan cricket contingent, including 20 players and support staff, arrived in England on Sunday. In the video, all can be seen wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.
All the games will be conducted in a bio-secure environment with zero spectators during the series.
The ECB has still not announced the dates for the series which will be played behind-closed-doors. England is currently scheduled to take on West Indies in the three-Test series beginning July 8 at the Ageas Bowl.
