Wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha, who underwent a surgery in August last year, has made a comeback in Test format after reviving from a career-threatening shoulder injury. Saha has been named in the A squad for the West Indies tour comprising five one-dayers and three four-day games beginning July 11.
Earlier, Saha made his Bengal comeback with the Syed Mushtaq Ali and also played five games for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. The 34-year-old was replaced by Rishab Pant to play the role of a wicket-keeper batsman in the Indian Test squad; now, he needs to back himself up to impress selectors in order to make a sensational comeback to the Indian Test team.
