India vs New Zealand 3rd Test Toss & Playing 11s: New Zealand have won the toss and elected to bat first in the third and final Test at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Kiwi captain Tom Latham announced that they have made two changes to their Playing 11 with the hero of their previous match Mitchell Santner being left out because of an injury. Ish Sodhi replaces the left-arm spinner. In the other change, Kiwis have opted to bring in a fit-again Matt Henry in place of Tim Southee.
India too made a solitary change to their Playing 11. Rohit Sharma said at the toss that Jasprit Bumrah is not well which is why he has been replaced by Mohammed Siraj. Winless in the series, the Indian skipper said that currently he is focused on the job at hand in Mumbai rather than thinking about a place in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final.

Notably, India are 0-2 down in the three-match series at stare at the risk of being whitewashed in a Test series at home. While they succumbed to a defeat in the series opener in Bengaluru after being all out for 46 in the first innings, their batting did not have the answers to questions posed by Mitchell Santner either in Pune where the track offered assistance to spinners.
