There were frustrated reactions in the Aussie camp after the fourth Test match between India and Australia ended in Brisbane. The Australian fortress Gabba was breached after a period of 32 years. In a post-match interview for Seven Sports, Justin Langer went on to talk about his team’s loss in a whole-hearted manner. He remembered Australia’s loss at Headingly, Leeds in the third Test of the 2019 Ashes series when Australia lost by a wicket and had a chance to seal the game.
When asked about what he learnt from a series loss like this he said, "First, you can never take anything for granted, second never ever, ever underestimate the Indians. There are 1.5 billion Indians and if you play in that first eleven you got to be really tough, don't you?"

Langer also said, “The loss hurt us big time,” and Australia would look to bounce back in the South Africa series. He was proud of his bowling attack and the four bowlers who stood were solid even after facing a credible Indian batting line-up.
