Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman is set to miss the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan after he suffered a toe injury during the IPL. The BCB doctor Debashish Chowdhury confirmed that a scan that Rahman could miss three weeks of action.
The BCB has decided not to include the bowler in the squad before the team will be leaves for Dhaka on Tuesday. His replacement will be named by Tuesday.
"Mustafizur damaged his left toe during the IPL, and would not be traveling with the team," Chowdhury told.
Bangladesh's interim head coach Courtney Walsh mentioned about Mustafizur's injury and informed that Mustafizur had been rested from training due to the same. Walsh had sounded confident that he would recover in time, but the scan has revealed otherwise.

The left-arm seamer known for his deceptive cutters, was the best bowler for the for the Bangladesh side in the Nidahas Trophy T20s in March as he took 7 wickets with a respectable economy rate.
Bangladesh will take on the Afghanistan side in a three-match T20 series which will be starting from 3rd. Afghanistan will also be missing a key player in Dawlat Zadran who suffered a knee injury during a training session is set to miss the cricketing action for about a month.
