The Indian head coach Rahul Dravid was spotted giving tips to Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim ahead of the second Test at Mirpur. Mushfiqur Rahim got out for just 28 runs by Kuldeep Yadav in the first innings. In the second innings, Axar Patel took his wicket on the score of 23 runs.
Mushfiqur asked Dravid’s help to tackle the spinners. After their session, Mushfiqur was seen hugging Dravid to show his gratitude. Earlier, the Indian team skipper Rohit Sharma and speedster Navdeep Saini have been ruled out from the second Test against Bangladesh on Tuesday, as per the BCCI. Rohit had a thumb injury in the ODI series and he is still recuperating.
The BCCI issued a statement that said, "Rohit Sharma is under the care of the BCCI Medical Team following his left thumb injury, which he sustained during the 2nd ODI against Bangladesh in Dhaka”.
"The Medical Team is of the opinion that the injury needs some more time to heal completely before the Indian captain can bat and field with full intensity. He will continue his rehab and will not be available for the second and final Test against Bangladesh.
