The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 recently came to an end with the Lahore Qalandars lifting their second successive title. While the Multan Sultans came close, in the end they had to succumb to a narrow 1-run defeat in an absolute thriller of a finale.

Despite the loss, Sultans can take a lot of pride in the way they competed in the season in their run-up to the final where they fought hard several times when it looked like Qalandars would seal a comfortable win.

And now in a video which has gone viral on social media, Pakistan's upcoming fast-bowling talent Ihsanullah Khan was given a rather gala celebration by his family and friends in a village in Pakistan's Swat valley. This was after Ihsanullah returned home post the PSL, where he was part of the Mohammad Rizwan-led Sultans side and scalped 1 for 37 in his 3 overs in the final.

Overall, the right-arm fast bowler finished as the second-highest wicket taker, scalping 22 wickets from 12 innings just one behind Abbas Afridi's tally of wickets from 11 innings. For his impressive performance in the season, he was given the Player Of The Season award despite being picked in the Emerging Category.

Meanwhile, after losing the final, captain Mohammad Rizwan credited the team, especially the bowlers saying that the notion that they have a weak bowling attack was proven wrong due to the performances of their bowlers.

"Final is a pressure game, we thought we could have chased it given how the ball was coming onto the bat towards the end but we lacked the finishing touch. It was a difficult tournament because every team is tough to beat. We should give credit to the team because there was a notion that our bowling wasn't strong but our bowlers proved it otherwise," Rizwan said.
