The entire world is currently facing the wrath of deadly coronavirus outbreak which has affected over 4.18 million people globally. All major sporting events, including the much-popular Indian Premier League 2020, have been cancelled or postponed amid the COVID-19 pandemic spread.

Former India skipper MS Dhoni has not played for his national squad since his last appearance for team India in ODI World Cup semi-final against New Zealand in England, last year.

Meanwhile, Dhoni doesn't seem too stressed about his much-awaited return as he was spotted spending quality time with his family in his farmhouse at Ranchi.

In a video shared by Dhoni's daughter Ziva on Friday, what caught fans attention was an unshaven Dhoni who extensively grown his beard. MS Dhoni's new grey-bearded look went viral on social media and the legendary wicket-keeper batsman almost looked unrecognizable in this new look.

Dhoni's Mother Reacts To His Grey-Bearded Look

Dhoni's mother took note of his appearance and stated he isn't that old.

"Yes, I have seen his new look but he is not that old. No child is ever old for any mother," Dhoni's mother was quoted as saying by BDcrictime.

CSK bowling coach Lakshmipathy Balaji had revealed that India's ageing cricketing hero - MS Dhoni - looked 'very intense' during CSK's training camp even though he had not been part of any form of competitive cricket since India's heartbreaking exit from the 2019 World Cup.

"Dhoni was looking good, fit. He focused on training just like he always does and was as normal as he has always been. He trained like the way he did last year or 2 years ago. There is nothing that changes when it comes to his preparation. His routine, his mindset, everything is the same," Balaji told indiatoday.in.
