New Delhi: Mohammed Shami got four wickets on his return in the final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. The right arm bowler was sidelined for 3 months after suffering knee injury in the 3rd test against England in November 2016.

Shami’s heroics were in vain as Tamil Nadu defeated Bengal by 91 runs to clinch the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2017. India’s wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik was named as the man of the match.

Mohammed Shami has his eyes all set on the Champion Trophy 2017 to make a comeback to the national side.

But, there is a possibility that Shami might have his chance much earlier as the Indian skipper revealed the odds of including Shami for the final Test match against Australia in Dharamshala.
