The third ODI between Afghanistan and Ireland was played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. The match was halted for a while as Afghanistan players broke their Ramadan fast. While those in the change room got to break their fast inside the pavilion, Afghanistan skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi and all-rounder Mohammad Nabi were seen having 'Iftar' meal on the field after 40 overs were bowled during their batting innings.
While Afghanistan and Pakistan players have been seen breaking their fast during international cricket matches, this time around it was a unique scenario as the players ended their fast on the field itself. The video of them ending their fast on field has gone viral on social media.
