In a rare instance on a cricket field, Matt Renshaw, while playing for Prime Minister's XI in the warm-up match against a touring Pakistan side, got 7 runs against his name of a single ball. The incident happened on Day 3 of the four-day fixture at the Manuka Oval, Canberra as former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and the visiting side conceded four runs. Seven runs off a single delivery also allowed Renshaw to get to a fine half-century.

This happened on the fifth ball of the 78th over which was being bowled by spinner Abrar Ahmed. The ball was driven by the batter to deep extra cover and was being chased by Mir Hamza who had managed to stop the ball within the field of play. However, the batters had completed three runs by the time Hamza three the ball to Babar Azam who was at the non-striker's end. Babar, however, three the ball to the keeper's end which missed both the stumps and the stumper and went for a boundary as the batting team and Renshaw were awarded seven runs.
