The formidable Chennai Super Kings, placed right at the top of the table, won the toss and opted to bowl first against the struggling Rajasthan Royals in Match 25 of the Indian Premier League on Thursday evening at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur.

Over the years, Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s super accuracy and perfect judgment on the Decision Review System (DRS) has led to fans rename the system as ‘Dhoni Review System’. A similar incident took place during Thursday’s clash when MSD reviewed the lbw appeal after having a chat with bowler Chahar.

Chahar had a long chat with skipper and MSD signaled for the review only at the last second. It seemed that based on the TV timer, Dhoni was a second late to ask for the review, right after the TV timer had hit zero on the screen.

However, the ball-tracking showed the ball was hitting leg stumps as umpire Bruce Oxenford overturned his original decision and gave Rahane (14 runs off 11 balls) out.
