New Delhi: All is not gloomy for Royal Challengers Bangalore, who lost the opening match of IPL 10 to Sunrisers. RCB’s regular captain Virat Kohli is up and running and will be back in action sooner than expected.
Kohli, who has been sidelined from the initial stages of IPL due to a shoulder injury, himself announced his return to practice via microblogging site twitter.
RCB thoroughly felt Kohli’s absence in the middle when Yuvraj Singh and Co. thrashed RCB all around the park. The runner-ups lost the match by 35 runs.
It was reported that Kohli will be out of action for at least first four matches of RCB but if Kohli’s tweet is anything go by then the captain can make a comeback sooner than that.
While the other big attraction of RCB’s famed batting line up, AB de Villiers is expected to feature in the playing XI in the next match against Delhi Daredevils on April 8
Shane Watson is leading RCB in the absence of Kohli.
