Pathan has retained Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma as the opening pair. Following them, Rishabh Pant is slated to bat at number three in his suggested lineup.
Irfan Pathan made minimal changes to the middle order, retaining Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, and Hardik Pandya in his lineup. With the dry pitches in West Indies in mind, Pathan opted for just one change, bringing in Kuldeep Yadav instead of Mohammad Siraj.
