Ahead of the 12
th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the few franchises altered their player pool through the available trade window which closed on Thursday. Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians were the busiest franchises during the window.
As many as 11 cricketers were transferred from one team to another before the player auctions which is scheduled to be held in Kolkata next month.

The players' auction is scheduled to be held on December 19 in Kolkata. It will be the last one before all the 8 franchises assemble fresh squads from 2021 at a mega auction.
