Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will play their third game of the 2020 IPL Season against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai later on Friday evening.

CSK who ended up the losing finalist in last edition of the IPL have not had the best possible start in the league as they have one win and one defeat to their name in the two matches played. While CSK beat defending champions Mumbai Indians in their season opener, they were defeated by Rajasthan Royals by 16 runs in their last league assignment.

Delhi Capitals won their tournament opener against Kings Eleven Punjab after clinching a thrilling Super Over encounter.

There are injury concerns on either sides ahead of the clash as CSK fret over Ambati Rayadu's fitness, while Delhi Capitals might not be able to play their ace off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin who injured himself in the last encounter against Kings Eleven Punjab.

Both teams also need to address concerns in their batting as it has been a lop sided affair for them in their previous matches. While Faf Du Plessis has consistently scored runs in CSK's games against RR and MI, the other top order batsman failed to contribute meaningfully.

Meanwhile, Marcus Stoinis was the saviour for Delhi in their last encounter against Punjab as their top order was dented by KXIP seamers Mohammad Shami and Sheldon Cottrel.
