CSK have been in red hot form this season, winning seven of their eight matches. However hosts Hyderabad are in desperate need to resurrect their campaign after managing three wins from their seven games .

After starting off on a bright note, SRH have lost their way losing three games on the trot. The hosts would once again be looking towards their lethal opening combination of David Warner and Johhny Bairstow to provide the opening salvo as they have been doing all season long.
The return of Kane Williamson in the middle order is surely a boost for the Orange Army. SRH's middle-order of Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda and Yusuf Pathan have failed to deliver even in a single match.
Chennai's batting unit has been pretty much on the money with Dhoni, Raina and Du Plessis all making noteworthy contributions. However, CSK would contemplate dropping Shane Watson who has been having a horrific run with the willow.
CSK's bowling attack looks well rounded with a good blend of seamers and spinners. While Deepak Chahar has been phenomenal with his spells with the new ball, Dhoni would look towards Shardul Thakur to finish off the proceedings in the death overs.
