Comfortably placed at point table courtesy, the Delhi Capitals shall take on Mumbai Indians in Match 34 of the Indian Premier league (IPL) at Kotla. The Mumbai Indians come after attaining a thrilling win against RCB and have found their groove after fine-tuning the small things.

On the other hand, with 5 wins form 8 matches, Delhi Capitals have found it tough to adjust with the slow surfaces at Kotla and will hope the curator will give them a more lively pitch than he did earlier at home.

Coming to the Toss, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bat. The Mumbai skipper said that his squad understands Kotla pitch a lot, having played here quite a bit. In Mumbai, Ben Cutting replaces Ishan Kishan and Jayant Yadav comes in place of Jason Behrendorff in the playing XI. Ben, Polly, Hardik, Krunal, Jayant -  Mumbai has got as many as five all-rounders featuring at Kotla.

"Having played here quite a bit, we understand the nature of the pitch. Runs on the board is always an advantage. The last time we played here, we were not able to chase 160.” says Rohit Sharma.

DC skipper Shreyas Iyer said Delhi has decided to play with the same team, trying to maintain stability as they take on MI at Kotla today.

"I was also surprised. We are trying to maintain stability, so we are playing with the same team.", said Iyer.
