Having already booked their berth in the playoffs, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will want to strengthen their top spot in the points table when they take on Kings XI Punjab in their last group stage encounter of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) edition at the IS Bindra Stadium, here on Sunday.

Chennai would be buoyed by the fact that their skipper MS Dhoni is in tremendous form in the ongoing season and has scored valuable runs towards the end.

On the other hand,  it wouldn't be an easy task for R. Ashwin's men to secure victory against a formidable and consistent CSK.

Toss Update:

Punjab have won the toss and will be bowling first. They have made just one change in the side; Harpreet Brar comes in for Arshdeep Singh.

“We will be bowling first. We have not used many wickets repetitively. We have almost used all the wickets on the square. This is the second game on this pitch and it is generally good to bat. Probably bit slower as it is a day game. Every game is important for the franchise,” said Ashwin at the toss.

CSK have made no changes to the team for the last league game of the season.

“Nothing really has changed and that's how we look at it. Last game in the league stage, gives us an opportunity to sort everything out before the important part of the tournament gets in,” said MS Dhoni.
