The Delhi Capitals (DC), on Saturday, unveiled their official team jersey for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The franchise made the announcement through a promo featuring wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant which they shared on social media.
Since the DC depicts three tigers in their logo, the jersey has incorporated tiger stripes in a bluish shade. The DC players will be seen wearing their official jersey for the first time at the Wankhede Stadium when they kickstart their IPL campaign against Mumbai Indians on 24th March 2019.
Talking about the video, Pant could be seen taking a funny jibe on his ‘Guru’ and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni. The young stumper from Delhi has thrown an open challenge stating that the ‘Captain Cool’ will no longer be cool after witnessing his fireworks.

The 12th edition of the cash-rich tournament is slated to kickstart from March 23 with defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Chennai. It will be off to an earlier-than-usual start this year owing to the general elections, dates of which are yet to be announced. Any change in the provisional itinerary—from March 23 to April 5—will be revised accordingly.
All teams will play a minimum of 4 matches with Delhi Capitals (DC) and RCB playing 5 matches. Every team will play a minimum of 2 home and 2 away matches with DC playing 3 home matches, while RCB will play 3 away matches.
