India vs New Zealand: 0-2 Down in the series and after having conceded a Test series defeat in home for the first time in 12 years, India find themselves in with a chance for win at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. While it was Ravindra Jadeja who scalped a fifer in the first innings for India, it was more of a combined effort in the second innings with Jadeja and Ashwin sharing seven wickets between them and Washington Sundar who returned with four wickets in the first innings, took a wicket in the second along with a wicket Akash Deep. New Zealand end Day 2 on 171/9, leading by 143 runs.

Will Young Scores Second Fifty In The Match
For the Kiwis, it was a second successive half-century for Will Young in this match. While he made 71 off 138 balls in the first innings, he backed it up a 51 in the second innings before being removed by Ashwin. Daryl Mitchell and Young added 50 runs for the fourth wicket, the highest partnership in the second innings so far with only one wicket remaining.
India would look to get the solitary wicket early on before finding a way to finish off the match with the bat after five back-to-back batting collapses already in the series. Even a target of around 150 would not be easy especially if the New Zealand spinners find the right line and length right from ball one. It would take some taking by the Indian batters.
