After having scripted one of India’s greatest-ever triumphs in its storied Test history- an unprecedented 2-1 series win in Australia- the focus of the Men in Blue will now turn to England as they lock horns with the ‘Three Lions’ in a full-fledged series consisting of four ICC Test Championship Tests, five Twenty20 Internationals and three ODIs.
Four years after their previous tour to India, England will return to the Asian country for a full-fledged series starting February 5.
India vs England 2021 Venues:
The Test matches will take place in Chennai and Ahmedabad. The first two matches will take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium while the last two will be held at the newly created Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad. The third Test will be a pink-ball affair. The Test series will be followed by a five-match T20I rubber, which will take place at the Sardar Patel Stadium
All the matches will take place behind closed doors.

The BCCI has announced the Test squad for the first two matches. Virat Kohli, who missed the final three Tests against Australia, will lead the home team. Hanuma Vihari, Ravindra Jadeja, Umesh Yadav, and Mohammed Shami are still not fit and will miss the series.
Ishant Sharma, who was ruled out of the Australia tour, is also back to lead the pace attack. Prithvi Shaw was dropped from the squad.
