IND vs AUS 1st ODI Weather Update: With just two weeks left for ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 in India, the final leg of preparations for two of the greatest cricket teams starts with INDIA vs AUSTRALIA three-match ODI series, starting from today (Friday, September 22) onwards. 2011 World Cup winner India is all set to square off against Australia in first ODI of the three-match IND vs AUS ODI series 2023 at Punjab's Mohali.


For India, it is their final chance to finalise their combinations ahead of ODI World Cup 2023. The Men in Blue have rested big names like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya for first two ODIs to give some game time to players returning from injury and test players like Ravichandran Ashwin and Washington Sundar. The weather forecast for Mohali suggests that there's zero percent chance of rain in the city on Friday (September 22). Cloud cover is expected to be around 15 percent and the temperature will likely remain between 26 and 24 degrees Celsius. In fact, humid and hot conditions await India-Australia players and fans in Mohali.

"People like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma specifically, from our perspective, it’s really important to get them to that World Cup in physically and mentally in the space that they want to be in," Dravid said. 


"They know how they need to prepare themselves and lot of these decisions are made in discussions with them and senior and more experienced guys have their routines and know how they want to prepare in the lead up to a big event like the World Cup," he added.
