Vekatesh Prasad, one of the most outspoken critics about Indian cricket team's performance, took to X (formerly Twitter) to blast 'Men in Blue' after a poor show. West Indies, who even gave a tough challenge to Indian team in ODIs, defeated 2011 World Cup winners 3-2 in five-match T20I series. It is India's first T20I series loss against West Indies in last 17 years. Undoubtedly, India's performance in white-ball cricket, especially ODIs, hasn't been up to the mark. Prasad reminded fans that team India losing to West Indies -- a team that didn't qualify for last year's ICC Men's T20 World Cup -- is a cause of big worry.
Prasad asserted that time has come to hold people accountable. The former India pacer did not shy away from pointing out that Hardik Pandya and Co lack hunger and fire to win matches.
From Asia Cup to World Cup, India have lost a number of big tournaments in last one year and are yet to win an ICC trophy in last 10 years.
