The second unofficial Test between India A and England Lions began with drama as Yashasvi Jaiswal showed visible frustration after being dismissed LBW early in the innings.
Opening with KL Rahul, Jaiswal scored 17 off 26 balls with two boundaries before being trapped in front by Chris Woakes.
Unhappy with the decision, Jaiswal stood at the crease for a few seconds, gesturing that the ball was missing the stumps, but with no DRS available in this unofficial Test, he had no choice but to walk off.
Rahul, Jurel Anchor India A
England Lions won the toss and chose to bowl, reducing India A to early trouble with the quick dismissals of Jaiswal and skipper Abhimanyu Easwaran. However, KL Rahul, returning to red-ball cricket after the IPL, held the innings together. He first built a partnership with Karun Nair, then stitched a 121-run stand with wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel.
