Virat Kohli will not play the third T20 match against West Indies in Kolkata. Virat, after playing a brilliant knock of 52 runs in the second T20 has left Kolkata on Saturday morning.

The ace batsman probably will not be a part of the upcoming T20 series against Srilanka as he wants to rest and prepare well for the 100th Test match of his career slated to be played in Mohali in the first week of March.

A source in BCCI has confirmed to ABP News that Virat has left the bio bubble in Kolkata this morning and will not be a part of the team in the third T20.

Indian team, in all probabilities, will do all kinds of experiments in the third T20I against the Windies and field the players who haven't got an opportunity in the series so far. As a result, the key cricketers would have been given rest anyways.

Virat will now join the team straightway in Mohali ahead of the first Test match against Srilanka.
