In Patna, Brahmins from Ved Vidyalaya participated in the recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa, holding pictures of the Indian team players. Similarly, prayers were conducted at the famed Baba Vishwanath temple in Varanasi for the Indian team's victory.
In Prayagraj, fans performed 'arti' with posters of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, accompanied by prayers and the waving of the tricolour flag. Similar scenes were observed in Kanpur, where fans visited temples with Team India's posters.

In Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, a 'havan' was conducted in hopes of India's victory against South Africa in the ICC T20 World Cup final scheduled today at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.
