New Delhi: The second Test match of the 3-match Test series between India and South Africa (Ind vs SA) will be played at the Wanderers ground in Johannesburg from today (Monday). Team India leads the series 1-0.

Led by Virat Kohli, team India won the first Test match of the series played at Centurion by 113 runs. India's spirits are high after winning the series opener.

Team India's record at the Johannesburg ground is excellent. It has not lost a single Test match there. If India win the test match at the Wanderers, then it will clinch the Test Series for the first time in South Africa.

Team India's Playing 11 for the Johannesburg Test match may see a few changes. For the Johannesburg pitch, which is known to be favourable for fast bowlers, India can opt for an extra pacer. Virat Kohli could keep his star spinner R Ashwin out from the Playing 11 and replace him with fast bowler Umesh Yadav.

Umesh Yadav bowls at a continuous speed of more than 135 kmph. In such a situation, this pitch is going to be instrumental in achieving that.

Team India's Likely Playing 11: Virat Kohli (captain), KL Rahul (vice-captain), Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Umesh Yadav.

Virat Kohli's Captaincy Record

Skipper Virat Kohli can clinch a special record to his name if Team India is able to snatch a victory. Kohli will be the third most successful Test captain after South Africa's Graeme Smith and Australia's Ricky Ponting.  Virat Kohli will equal Steve Waugh if Team India wins the Test match in Johannesburg. Steve Waugh captained 57 Tests and won 41, while Kohli has won 40 of 67 matches. He has a chance in Johannesburg to level up to Waugh.
