On Day 2 of the first Test between India and Bangladesh, Mohammed Siraj,  India's speedster was involved in a verbal banter with Bangladesh batter Litton Das. The incident transpired in the 14th over when Siraj bowled the first ball and Litton defended it. The pacer then walked up to Litton and said something. The Bangladesh batter then responded that he did not hear anything. Though, Siraj had the last smile as he dismissed Litton on the very next delivery.


Siraj disclosed as to what he told Litton and spoke to the media, “I just said T20 format Nahi hai. Yeh Test cricket hai toh play sensible cricket (I just said it is not the T20 format. This is Test cricket so play sensibly)”.


Earlier, Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara smashed centuries and India declared their second innings on 258/2. With the help of brilliant knocks by Gill and Pujara, India gave a huge 513-run target to Bangladesh.





 Kuldeep Yadav starred with the ball in the first innings where he scalped five wickets and restricted Bangladesh to just 150 runs. Siraj also contributed with the ball and took three wickets.
