India vs Australia 2nd Test, a day-night encounter, is set to take place in Adelaide starting December 6. All eyes will be on Virat Kohli as the Indian maestro stands on verge of achieving historic milestones.

The former Indian skipper will have a chance to break record of three batting legends of world cricket, Sir Don Bradman, Vivian Richards and Brian Lara.

Don Bradman's record on target in Ind vs Aus 2nd Test

Don Bradman currently holds the record for scoring most international centuries by a batter in a foreign country. He scored 11 centuries in 19 matches in England from 1930 to 1948. Since his debut in 2011, Kohli has scored 10 centuries in international cricket on Australian soil so far. Now if Kohli manages to score a century in IND vs AUS 2nd Test in Adelaide, he will be able to equal Bradman's record.

Brian Lara and Vivian Richards' records also on target

West Indies legend Brian Lara holds the record for most Test runs at Adelaide Oval, having scored 610 runs at the iconic venue. Close behind him is Sir Vivian Richards, who amassed 552 runs in Tests at this ground. Virat Kohli, with 509 Test runs at Adelaide, is on the brink of surpassing these legendary figures.

If Kohli scores 44 runs in upcoming IND vs AUS 2nd Test, he will surpass Vivian Richards to secure second place on the list. A further 58 runs would see him eclipse Lara's record and claim the top spot.

Apart from this, if Kohli is able to score 44 runs, he will go ahead of Vivian Richards in the elite list.
