Yashasvi Jaiswal Golden Duck: Mitchell Starc claimed a wicket on the first ball of the India vs Australia 2nd Test in Adelaide as Yashasvi Jaiswal of India fell for a golden duck, getting out LBW to an inswinging yorker on December 6 (Friday). Jaiswal was one of the chief architects of India's famous 295-run win in the first IND vs AUS Test of the series as he brought up his fourth Test century and went on to score 161 runs in the second innings of the match. However, Starc made sure that Jaiswal inflicted no such pain to Australia in the first innings of the Adelaide Test.
After the Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat first in Adelaide, Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc bowled a full, swinging delivery on leg stump. Yashasvi Jaiswal moved too far across and was struck on the shin in front of leg stump. The umpire quickly raised his finger, making the decision clear without any hesitation. Jaiswal had a long chat with KL Rahul at the non-striker's end but decided against a review, rightly so.

Interestingly, Jaiswal sledged Starc during the second innings of the 1st IND vs AUS Test. Jaiswal, who scored 161 in the second innings in Perth, had playfully referred to Starc as "too slow" during a light-hearted exchange when India was in control against the Australian bowlers.
"You’re coming too slow at me," Jaiswal was heard saying on the stump mic, following a brief stare-down between the two players in Perth.
